Want to know a little more about how we run CrossFit here?

Some say CrossFit is intimidating. Feel free to call or email us if you have further questions or concerns that the following outline doesn’t address:

  •  – 0 to 5-10min: Arrive/Warm-up
  • – 10 to 20-25min: Instruction/CF Skill Workout
  • – 25 to 45min: Instruction/GPP Workout
  • – 45 to 50min: Cool down/Leave
  • You arrive early, set aside belongings and or change clothes, and get ready for the class. At the start of class time, the coach gets everyone together, outlines the WOD (Workout(s) of the Day), and leads everyone through a warm-up.
  • After the warm-up, the coach leads everyone through some mobility work while addressing the CF (CrossFit) Skill component for the day. This could be a strength set or some other accessory exercises designed to work on well-rounded fitness. If necessary and depending on the task for the day, athletes will receive an appropriate modification from the coach.
  • After the CF Skill, the coach continues to lead the class with a review of the movements in the final workout of the class. This is a workout designed to increase your General Physical Preparedness (GPP). You’ll set up all necessary equipment for the workout in your own area. If necessary and depending on the task for the day, athletes will receive an appropriate modification from the coach.
  • The coach begins the GPP with “3,2,1-GO!” and then everyone progresses through the workout together. The coach continues to provide individual corrections and motivation (i.e. coaching) throughout the workout.
  • Upon completion, you put away all the equipment used and the coach provides some stretching recommendations. (Hopefully you do them before you leave.)

That’s it. You got a great workout in less than an hour!

**If you’re new, the next step is to register for an On-Ramp. You must attend all On-Ramp classes before regularly participating in classes or obtaining a monthly membership.
